Norman Hardie Riesling 2015

Consistently great Riesling in the perfect off-dry style. Strikes the perfect balance of sugar, acid, alcohol, and lime flavour. The rich texture and long finish might make you think the wine is sweeter than it actually is, but there’s no cloying sugar on the tongue. (4.5/5)

The Dreaming Tree Chardonnay 2014

Moselland Bernkasteler Kurfurstlay Riesling 2014

My favourite Riesling aromas of white peach, lime, and slate are promising. There’s a tiny bit of effervescence and minerality, but not enough acid to balance out the sweetness. The alcohol stands out in the finish considering it’s only 10% abv. Not bad for the price, but a few more dollars should get you a much more balanced wine. (3.5/5)

Trail Estate Chardonnay Musqué 2015

Trail Estate Chardonnay MusquéBeautifully perfumed nose with rich tropical fruit and floral notes. The palate is surprisingly textured with some body from neutral oak aging, and flavours reminiscent of Viognier. Wines like these are a great compromise for the oaky Chard and aromatic white drinkers.  (4/5)
